Subaru Fuel Damper - Feed
If you own a Subaru then chances are good that your motor has a fuel damper. The intention is to flatten (smooth out) the harmonic frequency found in the fuel lines, resulting in a more linear fuel flow. When the internal diaphragm fails the result is a ticking noise, most notably heard at idle.

- With slight modifications (remove the rubber hoses), this model can be used on a multitude of different Subaru models ranging, but not limited to; Forester, WRX, Legacy, and STi.
Install Note
- The bent portion routes to the firewall, while the straight portion routes to the fuel rail.
- We have tested and used feed and return lines interchangeably on the same feed lines without issues. The only difference appears to be the shape of the damper, which usually clips into a factory bracket.

In 2008, these prior generation dampers were removed and replaced with a Damper\/Fuel Pressure regulator combination, found only on the STi model. Although this factory combination works well on stock STIs, it can exhibit a flat spot in power between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM as modifications are added to the car, especially larger injectors. Other common names for this situation are: flat spot, GR Stumble, Lean Spot, Headache!, ETC.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe decided it was time to resolve the flat spot once and for all. Through countless data logging hours we were able to design one of the best solutions on the market for the GR stumble.
