If you own a Subaru then chances are good that your motor has a fuel damper. The intention is to flatten (smooth out) the harmonic frequency found in the fuel lines, resulting in a more linear fuel flow. When the internal diaphragm fails the result is a ticking noise, most notably heard at idle.

- Turbo charged models
- With slight modifications (remove the rubber hoses), this model can be used on a multitude of different Subaru models ranging, but not limited to; Forester, WRX, Legacy, and STi.
- This is a new factory Subaru part
Install Note
- The bent portion routes to the firewall, while the straight portion routes to the fuel rail.
- We have tested and used feed and return lines interchangeably on the same feed lines without issues. The only difference appears to be the shape of the damper, which usually clips into a factory bracket.

chris roche This feed side damper for my 06' Forester with Turbo was super hard to find as just the damper alone. Subaru sells the damper with both hoses as a rule, and they want $250+ for it!!! This came with hoses, but since they are open ended hoses I just removed the damper and installed it in line with my stock hoses and it works like a champ. This is honestly the only place I could find this part that did NOT include the prices Subaru hoses. ( Including ebay and junk yards). So I'm happy to have been able to save over $160.oo by finding it at iatuning.
