Made in the USA and reviewed across several publications, Subiesport, IWSTi, and NASIOC, the ia-Performance stereo speaker install kits is one of the most innovative kits on the market. These are constructed of Polycarbonate, which is 2x stronger than ABS, commonly found in other brands. Their universal design allows the adapters to be stacked, or even flipped, to meet the mounting depth and cutout diameter needs of each speaker.

Through the implementation of our injected molded adapters, you now have the option of running virtually any aftermarket speaker while maintaining the factory door covers*. Plus, the ease of which our kit installs will make anyone feel like a pro (no cutting nor drilling required).

- Tip: when shopping for coaxial rear speakers, find one that has a flush mounted tweeter, versus a tweeter that extends past the woofer body. This will make for an easier install.

Q: Where are the kits made?
A: The adapter rings are made in the USA with ia-Performance's proprietary mold and the final packaging occurs at our Colorado USA office.
Q: Why do the 6.5" (front and rear) and 5.25" (front only) kits come with 4 rings for just 2 doors?
A: The adapter plates have a beveled interior circle, which allows for various stacking configurations to accommodate a vast array of speaker cutout diameters.

Alex Rivas Bought the 5.25 speaker adapter kit for my 07 STI to install some kickers they made the installation so simple ! Clear instructions and the audio quality is much better now .

JP Mishler Great speaker adapter set. 6.5’s for the front and 5.25 for the rear was a great upgrade from the 🗑 blown stockers on my 07 WRX.
However, be warned, I ran into an issue for the front 6.5 adapters using the Kicker CS 6.5. The supplied #8 .5 inch screws were way too short to mount the speaker to the adapter. A quick run to the hardware store for a #8 3/4 inch got everything tightened down. I wish the kit included various sizes of #8 screws for instances like this. Can’t wait to throw everything in the car!

Ricardo Molina Couldn't find rear speaker adapters for both my 2008 Subaru Foresters. But luckily found you guys. I bought this front and rear kit. On my daughter's Forester I installed some Infinity Kappa Series 62.5i and the matching rear set. These speakers are about 10 years old but new, never installed. They sound amazing with a little Kenwood 50X4 watt amp. On my Forester I installed Rockford Fosgate T2652-S in front and T252-S in the rear. Both are component sets. Running these speakers with a Rockford Fosgate T600-4 140X4 watts. These speakers scream. All thanks to your awesome speaker adapters I installed the speakers myself and couldn't be happier. Thank you very much.

Pedro This kit allowed use of 2 sets of non-shallow mount JL Audio speakers (TR650-CXi & C1-525x) into a '02 Subaru Impreza WRX, upgrading the sizes as promised (5.25" to 6.5" fronts, 4" to 5.25" rears). I was pleasantly surprised this kit came with just enough extended clips to hold the door panel on while being pushed out by the non-flush tweeters (no fault of this kit; the door panels are too flat).
The mounting rings are very durable and well designed, including multiple rings for the front to allow the speaker magnets to fully clear the glass when rolled down. 3 different lengths of screws are provided depending on the needed ring use according to the speakers to be mounted.
If anything, I would only add maybe 2 more black clips just incase of loss or breakage. Otherwise, it's a great mounting kit that requires no modification of the doors or panels.

Greg Anson Used these to be able to install NVX V Series 6.5 and 5.25 speakers. The Rear were tight and without using the included door spacers the tweeters push on the door panel, but it hasn't seem to cause any sound issues so far. The Front used both adapters together but otherwise had no clearance issues and didn't hit the door panel. Well made kit with VERY good instructions.
